Hastings United Football Club & Academy Sites

Two connected WordPress sites built for Hastings United, one for the main club, and another for the academy. They were both built using custom ACF block systems for flexible, branded content editing.

The main site includes dynamic features for fixtures, results, and league tables, pulling live data from the Football API (via RapidAPI). Custom backend settings allow the admins to control which leagues and teams the data is fetched from, and to manage logos and other display details directly in WordPress.

The academy site focuses more on internal organisation, with tools for creating and managing teams, assigning coaches, and publishing structured team pages.

Both sites share a consistent design system and editor experience, making it easy for staff to manage updates across both without needing technical input.
